More Than 2 Dozen Tickets Issued During Memorial Day In DuPage County
The Memorial Day safety campaign was part of ongoing statewide initiatives to promote seatbelt safety.
DUPAGE COUNTY — DuPage County deputies issued more than two dozen citations during their Memorial Day safety initiative.
The following tickets were given:
- 15 speeding tickets
- Four tickets for driving without insurance
- One ticket for driving with a suspended license
"We strongly enforce traffic laws for one reason — to save lives," DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick said in a statement.
