Road Work To Begin In Parts Of Wheaton

The road work is expected to start May 2 and last throughout the summer.

WHEATON, IL — Road work is set to begin in parts of Wheaton Thursday. The work, which includes repairs, resurfacing, curb replacement and more, will be performed on more than five miles of streets throughout the city.

On May 2, crews will begin curb replacement in Orchard Cove at the following locations:

  • Eagle Court from Golden Pond Lane to cul-de-sac
  • Golden Pond Lane from Brighton Drive to end of street
  • Hidden Court from Golden Pond Lane to cul-de-sac

Curb replacement will also start in Briarcliffe Knoll at the following locations:

  • Alchester Drive from Johnstown Lane to Castlewood Drive
  • Brandon Drive from Alchester Drive to Farnham Lane
  • Castlewood Drive from Alchester Drive to Farnham Lane
  • Falson Court from Haverhill Drive to cul-de-sac
  • Haverhill Drive from Alchester Drive to Farnham Lane
  • Wales Drive from Alchester Drive to Farnham Lane
