Roads Closed on Saturday, Sunday This Weekend for Races

A few roads in two Wheaton neighborhoods will be  closed this weekend for the Wiesbrook School Tiger Trot and the Briar Glen 3K Bulldog Run/Walk, on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. 

On Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the following roads will be closed, with police on-hand to direct traffic (see a map on the City of Wheaton website:)

• Durfee Road, between Wiesbrook Road & Arrowhead Drive
• Arrowhead Drive, between Durfee Road & Menomini Drive
• Menomini Drive, between Arrowhead Drive & Seneca Drive
• Seneca Drive, between Menomini Drive & Durfee Road
• Seneca Drive, between Legends Drive & Durfee Road
• Tomahawk Drive: entire Tomahawk Drive
• Burning Trail, between Durfee Road & Embden Lane
• Embden Lane, between Burning Trail & Seneca Drive

On Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the following roads will be closed, again, with police on-hand to direct traffic (see a map on the City of Wheaton website:)

• Brentwood Lane, between Cambridge Lane & Brentwood Lane East
• Brentwood Lane East, between Brentwood Lane & Windsor Drive
• Windsor Drive, between Brentwood Lane East & Nottingham Lane
• Sheffield Lane & Cheshire Lane: Closed entirely
• Nottingham Lane, between Windsor & Oxford Lane
• Oxford Lane, between Nottingham Lane and Cambridge Lane
