Serious Injury Crash Closes County Farm Road In Wheaton
The closure was in effect as of 2:15 p.m. Wednesday and was expected to last "several hours."
WHEATON, IL — At least one person was seriously hurt in a crash on County Farm Road in Wheaton Wednesday afternoon. The crash had closed the roadway between Manchester and Jewell Roads around 2:15 p.m.
Drivers heading south on County Farm were advised to take Winfield to Roosevelt. Drivers heading north were advised to take Manchester to Winfield Road, and then to Geneva Road. DuPage County Complex's west entrance was closed amid the crash investigation.
Officials said in an update that the road was likely to be closed for "several hours." Drivers were encouraged to seek alternate routes.
