'Strong Start To Voting' In DuPage County: Clerk Kaczmarek
Totals for the final day of early voting almost doubled 2020's numbers, per DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek.
DUPAGE COUNTY — Election Day saw a "strong start to voting" in DuPage County, with more than 40,000 voters casting their ballots bright and early before 9 a.m. on Nov. 5, County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek shared in an update.
The update reflected the following totals:
- Election Day voters: 40,105
- Early voting in-person: 210,426
- Vote-by-mail ballots processed: 81,953
In total, 332,484 voters had cast their ballots by 9 a.m. on Election Day, which reflects more than 52 percent of the county's registered voters.

Kaczmarek said, “24,211 voters turned out for the last day of in-person Early Voting, nearly double the 12,846 who voted the day before Election Day in 2020. This enthusiasm has continued into a strong start to voting this morning. DuPage County voters are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to Vote Anywhere today and visit whatever polling place is most convenient to cast their vote if they have not done so already."
