Two Cars Stolen In Wheaton: Police

Two cars were reported stolen within just over 24 hours, according to Wheaton police.

WHEATON, IL — Two cars were reported stolen in just over 24 hours in Wheaton, according to the city's most recent police blotter.

On April 16, police were notified of a vehicle theft in the 1000 block of Briarbrook Drive. The victim told police they parked their car in the lot of an apartment complex around 6:45 p.m. on April 15. When they returned to the lot at 7:15 a.m. the following day, they noticed their car had been stolen.

Another car theft was reported to Wheaton police on April 17. According to the crime blotter, the car was stolen from a parking spot in the 400 block of Handel Court. The theft took place sometime between 11:30 a.m. on April 16 and 7:30 a.m. on April 17.
