Weekend Weather: Rain Will Bring Cooler Temps, Then Two Days of Sun
The National Weather Service predicts that a rainy Saturday in Wheaton will make way for sunny and cool weather for the rest of the Labor Day weekend.

The National Weather Service says showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Saturday. The day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent, and new rainfall amounts could measure to be a quarter- to half-an-inch. Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1 a.m. Sunday, then a slight chance of showers. Skies could be cloudy to partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent with another quarter- to half-an-inch possible before daybreak.
Sunday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 73. Northwest wind will blow between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Sunday night could see a temperature as low as 52, with mostly clear skies. North-northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph, are predicted.
The weather for Monday, Labor Day is expected to be sunny, with a high near 66.
