Underage Drinking, Stolen Vehicle: Police Blotter

Wheaton police reports, Feb. 24-March 4

MONDAY, MARCH 4

Suspended Driver's License

Police charged Enrique J. Murillo, 28, of the 400 block of North Albany Avenue, Chicago, with driving on a suspended license. Murillo drove a red 2004 Dodge Durango near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Westhaven Drive at about 8:43 p.m. when police stopped him. He was released at the scene.

Battery

Police charged Nancy L. Winchester, 51, of the 1100 block of Marcella Lane, West Chicago, with battery (local ordinance). Winchester was arrested at about 12:07 p.m. on the 200 block of Danada Square West. She was released at the scene.

Stolen Vehicle

A man reported at 8:28 a.m. that a brown 2012 Chrysler 300 he rented from Enterprise was stolen on the 1400 block of North Summit Street. The Chrysler was parked in the driveway last night at 9:15 p.m. When the man went to start the car this morning, it was gone. The man said he still had both car FOBs that Enterprise gave him.

Underage Drinking, No Driver's License

Police charged Luis Alcaraz, 19, of the 1100 block of Evergreen Avenue, Glendale Heights, with driving without a license and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was driving a blue 2004 Mazda 6 at about 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Bloomingdale Road and Glen Arbor Court when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

DUI

Police charged Douglas W. White, 36, of the 500 block of South Wisconsin Avenue, Villa Park, with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a black 2003 Ford Escape at about 1 a.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt and Shaffner roads when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

TUESDAY, FEB. 26

Cannabis Possession

Police charged Kathleen B. Lendabarker, 18, of the 2S100 block of Essex Road, Wheaton, with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 2:07 a.m. at Danada and Naperville Road. At the same time and place, police charged Hannah G. Sharpe, 19, of the 1900 block of Cromwell Drive, Wheaton, with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both women were released at the scene.

SUNDAY, FEB. 24

No Driver's License

Police charged Anita L. Nash, 29, of the 4500 block of South Lavergne Street, Cicero, with driving without a license. She drove a red 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix at about 10:08 p.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Washington Street when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police also charged Nash's passenger, Jamez M. Elem, 23, of the 1100 block of North 6th Avenue, Maywood, with possession of cannabis. Elem was released at the scene.
