WHEATON, IL — Police recently issued a citation to a Batavia woman in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed Paige Donahue, 31, in Wheaton in 2023. Tarra Fiedler was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident in the fatal crash.
According to police, Fiedler was identified after investigators got "results from electronic search warrants and an advanced analysis of physical evidence left at the scene from the involved vehicle," a news release said.
Police say Fiedler, who had driven a Hyundai Tucson at the time, was cooperative with investigators and shared additional information about the crash that killed Donahue.
