Woodridge Park District Active Adult Group Donates Nearly 2,000 Handmade Items To Local Charities

Crafting for a Cause, a group of Woodridge Park District active adults, has been sewing, crocheting and knitting since 2015 and in 2021, they made and donated nearly 2,000 homemade items. These handmade blankets, scarves, hats, pillows, aprons, dolls and backpacks were donated to local groups and hospitals in need including the Woodridge School District 68, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Almost Home Kids, Hope’s Front Door, Pregnancy Center Caring Network and more.
