Fabulous Freaky Frog Show

Woodridge Public Library Celebrates Return to In-Person Storytimes & Events with Croaking Good Time

An enormous bullfrog delighted frog fans of all ages on September 18, as the Woodridge Public Library celebrated the return of live, in-person storytimes and events with an outrageously fun show from Dave DiNaso’s Traveling World of Reptiles.

Laughter filled the library as the audience got involved by sitting on a turtle, balancing a frog on their head, and even wrapping themselves in a golden python. Experienced animal handlers shared facts, jokes, and stories as they gently introduced each creature, entertaining parents, preschoolers, and teens alike.

More free events are planned at the Woodridge Library, with monthly Drop-In Family Game Nights and a weeklong Halloween Spectacular taking place October 25 through 29. Program details, along with registration for preschool storytimes and art, science, and book programs for older children, can be found on the library’s Events Calendar.
