Man Who Stole From Employer Faces 18 Felonies: Yorkville Cops

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville police say a 41-year-old man stole work-related materials from his employer, then resold them to a third party over a period of seven month. After opening an investigation in October, police said they obtained a warrant for the arrest of Michael Ellman on 18 counts of felony theft.

Police said they learned early Monday that Ellman had been taken into custody at the Kendall County jail.

Ellman's bail was set at $25,000. As of Monday, he remained in custody, according to jail records.
