National Weather Service: Yorkville Area Could Get Six Inches of Snow
A winter storm watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for areas of Kendall and Will counties, including Yorkville, effective Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening.
Snow — possibly mixed with sleet — is expected to begin Tuesday morning, continuing into the afternoon and tapering to lighter snow Tuesday evening. Snowfall may be heavy at times throughout the day Tuesday, according to the NWS.
Snow accumulation over six inches is possible across the area, according to the winter storm watch.

In the city of Yorkville, residents are prohibited from parking on city streets any time snow reaches a depth of two or more inches until streets have been plowed.
