Phone Harassment, Attempted Burglary Among Kendall County Crime

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating several crime incidents reported during the third week of September 2020.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incidents reported during the third week of September 2020:

Harassment by telephone

Deputies were called at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday a report of someone being harassed via phone. According to the sheriff's office, Demarr Hill from the 0 – 100 block of Greenbriar Road in Montgomery, reported receiving several unwanted and harassing text messages on Aug. 30 The investigation is ongoing.

Violation of stalking/No Contact Order

Deputies responded at 10:22 Tuesday to a report of someone accused of violating a stalking/No Contact Order. Amparo Urzua told the sheriff's office she got a harassing telephone call Sunday, in violation of a valid Kendall County order. The investigation is ongoing.

Domestic battery

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 12000 block of Lisbon Road in Big Grove Township at 5:25 p.m. Monday for a report of a domestic battery. The incident is under investigation.

Disorderly conduct

At 7:25 p.m. Monday, Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 0-99 block of Lyncliff Drive in Bristol Township for a report of disorderly conduct. This incident is under investigation.

Attempted residential burglary

On 09-14-20 at 2302 hours, Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 500 block of Creek Road in Little Rock Township at 11:02 p.m. Monday for a report of an attempted residential burglary. According to the sheriff's office, the incident had already taken place, and they're continuing to investigate.
