Police Blotter: Come In And Beat My Friend

Scot Rogers, 55, and Alan Patterson, 43, both of Glenda Lane in Plano, were arrested for battery against a 50-year-old victim. The incident occurred on Little Rock Road in Plano.

“Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of shots fired inside the residence,” according to the sheriff’s report. ”Upon arrival, deputies determined there were no shots fired and the sounds came from a hammer dismantling on a metal shelf.

“During the investigation, it was determined that Rogers and Patterson entered the residence a the request of the owner of the residence. However, when doing sot, they got into a physical fight with (victim) who resides at the residence with the owner.”
