School Threat Under Investigation: Yorkville Police
Yorkville Police say there is no threat to those at Parkview Christian Academy or the general public.
YORKVILLE, IL—The Yorkville Police Department is investigating a report of a Parkview Academy middle school student who made threats toward other classmates at a school event. The April 30 incident is currently under investigation.
Police said there is no threat to the school or general public.
The incident occurred on April 30th between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The Yorkville Police Department began investigating the incident May 1.

Police believe the school has been forthcoming and cooperative with the investigation.
"There has been no need for increased officer presence, however our officer's make it a priority to patrol school zones," Deputy Chief Behr Pfizenmaier said.

There were no weapons recovered from this investigation, police said. The investigation is pending, it is unknown if charges will be filed.
