Teen Girl Bites, Scratches Mother Over Confiscated Phone: Cops
Yorkville police say the 13-year-old girl also left the home but eventually agreed to return.
YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville police responded to a domestic battery report Friday night in the 100 block of Bertram Drive after they say a mother attempted to take her daughter's cellphone away. Police responded to the home just after 8:30 p.m. after the daughter reportedly started a physical altercation with her mother.
Police say the 13-year-old scratched and bit her mother, then left the residence.
The girl was later located in the subdivision and arrested on a domestic battery charge before agreeing to return home.
