Yorkville Christian School To Start Offering 6th Grade

Sixth-grade students will study the core subjects of math, science, language arts, history and Bible studies.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville Christian School is introducing sixth grade to its middle school program.

Students will be able to complete their middle school years at the school, 2001 Whitekirk Lane, starting in the 2024-25 year.

Core classes will include math, science, language arts, history and Bible studies, while exploratory classes offered will include agriculture, life skills, art, music, foreign language and physical education. Students will also participate in weekly chapels and monthly missions.

The program will also offer a wide variety of sports and clubs for students to engage in extracurricular activities.

"Yorkville Christian Middle School provides an excellent and distinguished Christ-centered learning experience with strong academics and spiritual growth, and a focus to help every student carry out God’s perfect plan for his or her life," officials said in an Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce news release.
