Yorkville Christmas Celebrations: Santa, Parade, Fireworks

This Saturday, Yorkville is having celebrations for the holidays at Circle Center Grade School and Riverfront Park.

YORKVILLE, IL β€” Yorkville has some great holiday celebrations this Saturday, Nov. 17, with fesitivies happening at Circle Center Grade School and at Riverfront Park.

The Winter Wonderland festival held at Circle Center Grade School will feature carnival games, a bake sale, concessions and, of course, Santa.

Seeing Santa will be free, but all other activities require tickets. You can get those at the door or online. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Later in the afternoon, at 5 p.m., the Yorkville Holiday Celebration begins at Riverfront Park. The celebration features performances by members of the community, a parade, a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks.
