Yorkville Police Conduct Overnight Search For Possible Explosives
Police say there is no imminent danger to the public and this is an isolated incident.
YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville police, joined by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Oswego Police Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and the Kane County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad, responded at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday to intelligence received regarding the possible manufacturing of explosives in the 500 block of West Barberry Circle in Yorkville.
Police said there is no imminent danger to the public and this is an isolated incident.
The investigation is pending at this time.
