Carmel Woman Invites Homeless To Enjoy Reception After Canceling Wedding
The Ritz Charles is working with the woman to bring homeless shelter residents out to the venue to enjoy the pre-ordered reception food.
CARMEL, IN - A Carmel woman who was supposed to enjoy her Saturday wedding festivities is now turning her focus to the homeless, IndyStar reports. 25-year-old Sarah Cummins was going to get married this weekend at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. According to IndyStar, the couple called off their wedding last week. Due to the last-minute cancellation, Cummins decided to work with the Ritz Charles staff and invite local homeless shelter residents out to enjoy the plated dinners, during what was supposed to the wedding reception.
