• Many Hoosier drivers aren't moving over for emergency vehicles; Carmel Police are hoping to change that (wrtv.com) — Carmel drivers will now see Waze alerts when they approach police traffic stops, as Carmel Police deploy new technology in most patrol cars to boost roadside safety. The system aims to get more motorists to move over or slow down, after several Indiana State Police vehicles were recently hit. City leaders say other agencies statewide are watching Carmel’s pilot closely. 
• Carmel's Julianna DeBello strives her best in the Navy (midhudsonnews.com) — A Carmel High School 2020 graduate, Petty Officer 2nd Class Julianna DeBello, is building a fast-rising Navy career after leaving Carmel to serve as an aviation structural mechanic in Oklahoma City. She credits her Carmel roots, family support, and her grandfather’s World War II service for inspiring her path and rapid promotion to petty officer second class in just three years.
