“These unemployment numbers show that our local economy is strong and that we are benefiting by having built a city with a high quality of life that can attract the professionals – young and old – who are able to fill the thousands of jobs created by our growing corporate community,” said Mayor Brainard. “Recent Census Bureau statistics show that more than 70 percent of our residents have a bachelor's degree or higher and that is why Carmel is the perfect place for corporations to establish their operations here and take advantage of a workforce that can help them grow and be successful.”
