Countdown to Christkindlmarkt!

We are less than one month from the opening of Carmel Christkindlmarkt and The Ice at Center Green! Be sure to add Saturday, November 16 to your calendar when the opening bell rings at noon.

Market hours are Wednesday-Thursday, 4-9 p.m. and Friday-Sunday, noon to 9 p.m. Ice skating is open at the same time. Both are closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thanksgiving Day.

Special Holiday Hours

• The Market has special holiday hours on December 23, noon to 9 p.m. and December 24, noon to 3 p.m.

• The Ice has special holiday hours on November 27, December 23 and 24. See the website for details, The Ice at Center Green.

While Christkindlmarkt's last day is December 24, The Ice will reopen on December 26 through March 1. Check the website for hours and special winter season events.

Opening Day Festivities

11:45 a.m. Welcome from the Market Master, Maria Murphy

12 p.m. Opening Bell by the Christkind

12 p.m. Midwestern Alphorn Retreat (additional performances throughout the day)

12-9 p.m. Shopping, ice skating and delicious food

12-9 p.m. Woodworking Demonstrations by Christian Werner Herr Werner traveled from Germany to share his toy making craft!

3 p.m. Jeff Reed Solo

5 p.m. Jeff Reed Trio

7 p.m. Andra Faye and Scott Ballantine
