IMPD Collects Stuffed Animal Donations For Local Children
Twitter post shows an IMPD North officer gathering stuffed animals for local children. Here's how to help:

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — If you're doing some spring cleaning or are looking to purchase something for a community member, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials posted a photo on their Twitter account Tuesday highlighting one of the many helpful actions their officers and others do for children in our community. In the tweeted photo, one of their IMPD North District officials, Officer Castor, is holding a few stuffed animals that the department says will be given to kids during patrols or during difficult events.
IMPD officials tell Patch that they always welcome donations at IMPD District roll call sites and at their Victim's Assistance Unit at police headquarters.
