Military Mom Surprises Carmel Kindergartner At School

CARMEL, IN — Christmas came early at Carmel Clay Schools for one of their kindergarten students at Orchard Park Elementary. The district posted a heartwarming video (below) to its Facebook page Friday morning, Dec. 21, showing the moment student Renee's mother, whose been on active duty in the Navy, walked into her daughter's classroom to surprise her. Carmel Clay Schools said the mother, Mallory, hasn't seen her daughter since August.

"You ready to have fun?" Mallory asked a very surprised Renee while embracing. "Bake cookies, hangout with mom, and watch Disney movies? All of the above?"

It sounds like Mallory and Renee will have a very special Christmas together after months apart.
