Santa Claus Comes To Zionsville Neighborhoods
Zionsville Fire Department crews take Santa Claus along for nightly tour rides through Dec. 24: More

Santa Claus is coming to town - to Zionsville that is, as officials say he'll be seen riding on top of fire trucks through neighborhoods now through Dec. 24. It's part of Zionsville Fire Department's Annual Driver's Training Program, and officials say the tours start at 6:30 p.m. and end by 9 p.m., and will run through Christmas Eve. According to a release, Santa unfortunately won't be able to make it down every Zionsville street, however thanks to the city's Fire Department, their nightly tours with jolly old St. Nick will make it down the majority of streets.
Don't be alarmed if you see lots of emergency lights and hear Christmas music in your neighborhood, it's just Santa and ZFD looking to spread some cheer.

Officials say nightly tour routes, which can be seen on zionsville-in.gov or the ZFD Facebook page, are subject to delays due to firefighters' responding to 911 runs up until 8:30 p.m., which could possibly lead to cancellation of a tour night. However, ZFD says they will attempt to cover any cancelled neighborhoods on the remaining nights before Christmas.

ZFD encourages Zionsville community members to turn on porch lights, and to look and listen for the Christmas music on the night Santa is scheduled to tour down your neighborhood.
