UNVEILING OF NEW SCULPTURE POSTPONED
Due to inclement weather, the unveiling of the new J. Seward Johnson sculpture has moved to Monday.
What: Public art sculpture unveiling ceremony of "Waiting to Cross," a new sculpture that will be in the heart of the Carmel Arts & Design District.
When: Monday, February 28, at 5 p.m.
Where: At Main Street and the Monon Greenway, just south of Main Street along the trail between Bazbeaux and Anthony's Chophouse.
Who: Mayor Jim Brainard, members of the Mayor's Advisory Commission on Human Relations, members of the Carmel Public Art Advisory Committee and other City officials.
Details: The City of Carmel will unveil a new sculpture from the J. Seward Johnson collection that is designed to diversify and expand the City's collection of sculptures. The new sculpture was acquired from The Seward Johnson Atelier.
The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
