High schools are often looking for qualified coaches to fill vacancies in their programs. To qualify, the State of Iowa requires individuals complete a certification program, available through Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
The comprehensive program provides you with the essential skills, knowledge and credentials required for your coaching authorization, as well as being an effective and successful coach.

This course meets the following state requirements: Structure and Function of the Human Body; Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries; Human Growth and Development and Theory/Methods and Ethics of Coaching.
Class begins October 5.
