Are You a Renter in Iowa City? The City Wants Your Input

The City of Iowa City is conducting a survey to evaluate fair housing conditions in the area. If you are currently a renter in Iowa City or have been one in the last three years, we invite you to participate in an online survey. We want to find out what your experiences have been like in searching for or living in a rental unit in Iowa City. 

For more information or to take the Fair Housing survey, visit www.icgov.org/commdev. The survey will be open through Wednesday, Oct. 16. The information that you provide will be kept anonymous and confidential -- you do not have to provide your name, address, phone number, email ID or any other confidential information. 

Important: If you receive housing assistance, such as a Housing Choice Voucher, or live in public housing, and have already filled out a survey either online or using a paper form, you should not fill out this survey. We have already received your information.
