Tower Place Parking Ramp Open For Limited Hourly And Permit Parking In City Of Iowa City

No parking is allowed on Level 5 (top) to facilitate repairs.

The top three floors of the Tower Place Parking Ramp have been closed to the public since Monday, June 28, 2021, so that necessary repairs can be made.

Effective Thursday, July 15, 2021, hourly and permit parking have expanded to Levels 1 – 4, except where designated. No parking is allowed on Level 5 (top) to facilitate repairs.

The Senior Center skywalk has also reopened. Customers should use the designated pedestrian walkway on Level 3 to reach the skywalk. Patrons can also access The Center using the pedestrian ramp entrance in the Linn Street alley (on the north side of the building) or the Washington Street entrance.

Additional repairs to the Tower Place parking facility may take several months to complete and may further impact the availability of parking as the project progresses. We will continue to update the public on any potential changes. We appreciate your patience as we work through this project.
