The National Weather Service expects a cold and blustery week in eastern Iowa.

The week’s forecast for the Iowa City area looks like this:

• Monday - mostly cloudy with a high in the high teens and a low under 10. Overnight wind chill below zero.
• Tuesday - high in the teens with a wind chill around -10. Overnight low around zero, wind chill nearing -20.

• Wednesday - mostly sunny and breezy with a high in single digits and a low below zero.
• Thursday - high around 10 and a low around zero.
• Friday - High in the low 20s, low in the teens.
