Rise and Dine: The Summit at Fritz Farm to Host Barn Brunch

WHAT: In celebration of warmer weather and Keeneland’s Spring Meet season, The Summit at Fritz Farm invites the Lexington community to experience brunch in The Barn each Saturday in April starting on April 6. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Barn will feature local bites, drink specials and a full Bloody Mary bar with all the fixings needed to make the perfect brunch cocktail. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Forerunner who will transform The Barn into the ultimate brunch destination, bringing a lively atmosphere for guests to enjoy while dining.

On opening day, Keeneland BETologists will be at The Barn Brunch to educate guests on how to place bets and the winning strategy for horse selections. With Keeneland gates opening at 11 a.m. and the first post at 1:05 p.m., guests have plenty of time to indulge in a delicious brunch before heading to the races.

Exclusive menu items include:

• La Petite Creperie: Bacon Breakfast Crepe
• Pasture: Breakfast Sandwich with Kentucky-raised pastured eggs and sausage covered in cheddar on a freshly baked biscuit
• Crank & Boom: Affogato – a double shot of Nate’s espresso with choice of ice cream (Salted Caramel flavor is recommended!)
• Smithtown: Crab cake benedict; Midway everything bagel with smoked trout, Benedictine and baby arugula; Poached Eggs Manhasset with Midway English Muffin, smoked Salmon, poached local egg and Hollandaise sauce (Both poached egg dishes will be served with scratch made crispy potato hash)
