Downtown Louisville McDonald’s Celebrates Grand Re-Opening
Louisville Mayor among those on hand to celebrate local owners' commitment to neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 18, 2022) - Wednesday afternoon, McDonald’s Owner/Operators Nicole and Vic Topper were joined by community leaders for a ribbon cutting at their newly renovated restaurant located in downtown Louisville at 207 W. Broadway.
The Toppers invested in the extensive exterior and interior upgrades to the two-story restaurant as part of their commitment to providing opportunity to the neighborhood. Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer and representatives of the Louisville Branch NAACP were among those on hand for the celebration.
“The strength of our Louisville community ties directly to the offer of opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Nicole Topper. “McDonald’s is all about offering opportunities for our crew members, our customers and our neighborhoods and this upgraded restaurant will allow us to do that for many years to come.”

“We are building the kind of city that our kids and their kids will be proud to call home,” said Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer. “Through business owners like Nicole and Vic Topper, our neighborhoods are growing stronger and more connected every day.”
Mayor Fischer also shared a Mayoral Proclamation at the event, saying in part, “The Toppers’ compassionate investments in this infamous two-story McDonald’s, and its employees, will offer first-class service and memories to customers for many years to come. Our city congratulates the Toppers on this important business milestone and looks forward to seeing the smiling faces of everyone who has been touched by the efforts of these incredible community leaders.”

As part of the event, the Toppers made a donation to the Louisville Branch NAACP. Members of the nearby St. Francis School band also performed for attendees.
