Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office: One Person Dies In Head-On Collision

Caddo Sheriff’s deputies are at the scene of a fatal accident on E. Kings Highway, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a major crash involving an SUV and a sedan. According to Sgt. Chad Davis, the SUV was southbound and the sedan was northbound on E. Kings Highway when the two vehicles collided head on. The driver of the sedan died at the scene.

A section of E. Kings Highway from E. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop to University Place is temporarily closed as Caddo Sheriff’s investigators work the scene.
