Annapolis police are investigating an early Thursday armed robbery.
At 12:50 a.m., two women were walking from a parking lot to an apartment building in the 700 block of Americana Drive when two men, one with a handgun, approached, according to police.
The pair demanded money and both women gave the men their purses. The men got into a vehicle with a waiting driver and left the scene, according to police.
