More Pre-K, College + Career Readiness Part Of AACP's Newly Approved Blueprint
Expanded pre-K and more college and career readiness are goals in Anne Arundel. The state approved the AACPS blueprint for future education.

The Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Accountability & Implementation Board (IAB) today approved Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ plan to codify, comply, and collaborate to meet the policies, standards, and expectations of the Blueprint.

“After months of planning and garnering feedback, I am excited to move forward with our plan that promises innovative application of the Blueprint,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell in response to today’s announcement. “At its core, the Blueprint aligns with our school district’s goal to provide equitable access to a first-class, world-class education for every student.”
