Airbnb Says 2018 Was A Very Good Year For Maryland Hosts

Airbnb says that more than 6,500 hosts in Maryland welcomed around 383,600 guests to the state in 2018, bringing in about $57 million.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – As 2018 comes to a close, Airbnb says that it's been a very good year for their hosts around Maryland. The company says that more 6,500 hosts welcomed around 383,600 guests during the year

Those people provided close to $57 million in supplemental income, according to Airbnb.

Maryland's hosts earn about $5,600 a year in supplemental income, the company says.

Airbnb provided a breakdown of how many visitors stayed in each Maryland county as well as the total income for Airbnb hosts in that county.
