Annapolis to RNC: House Speaker Lures Annapolitan to Tampa

Annapolis resident Kevin Boland is spending this week in Tampa outside of the Republican National Convention handling out literature about tax hikes on behalf of Team Boehner.

TAMPA, FL—Kevin Boland is spending this week outside the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL warning people about what he said are "looming tax hikes" that will hurt small businesses.

"I'm here to help spread the word that we need less government spending," said Boland, 27, who made the trip down from his home in Annapolis.

Boland has spent the past four years as part of Team Boehner, which supports House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio). He and another volunteers were standing on a street corner Tuesday a few blocks from the Tampa Bay Times Forum, site of the RNC, handing out pamphlets and asking passersby to sign a petition calling on President Barack Obama to halt the tax hikes.
