Annapolis, Odenton Men Arrested for Soliciting Minors
Anne Arundel County Police have arrested two suspects for soliciting young girls for sex online.

Investigators from the the Anne Arundel County Police Department posed as a 13-year-old girl to communicate with men suspected of soliciting sex from children online.
The online chats led police to arrest Arthur Gene Strissel, 42, of Annapolis and Nigel Wesley Scott, 29, of Odenton. Both men had suggested to investigators that they meet for a sexual encounter, authorities said.
Strissel attempted to meet at a predetermined location in Anne Arundel County on Sept. 30, where he was arrested on charges of sexual solicitation of a minor. He is now being held on $250,000 bond.

Scott, meeting with the presumed 13-year-old for sex at another undisclosed location in Anne Arundel County on Oct 1, was also arrested for soliciting a minor. The Odenton resident was released on a $20,000 bail.
The department participated with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in the investigation.
