Annapolis Rotary Distributes $43,000 in Grants to Local Groups
This year's grants were all funded thanks to the World's Largest Crab Feast that Rotary hosted in August.

A crab feast hosted by the Rotary Club of Annapolis garnered enough funds to begin issuing grants to local organizations.
The total of the grants given this year was $43,400, all thanks to the World's Largest Crab Feast the Rotary members hosted in August.
According to a news announcement, in total, the Rotary Club received requests from 43 organizations for more than $155,740 and were able to fund 25 of those requests.

Recipients of this year's grants include:
- $3,500—Rebuilding Together
- $3,100—Boys and Girls Clubs of Annapolis
- $3,000—Anne Arundel County Food and Resource Bank
- $2,500—Box of Rain Foundation, Wellness House of Annapolis, and Arts Council of Anne Arundel County
- $2,100—Anne Arundel County Victims Fund
- $2,000—Creating Communities Inc., Anne Arundel County CASA, Partners in Care, Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, and Annapolis Maritime Museum
- $1,500—Sandra Shanahan, CPNP Inc.; Assistance League of the Chesapeake; and the Stanton Center
- $1,000—Providence Center, First Presbyterian Church STAIR program, Severn Riverkeeper program, Bay Theatre Company, YMCA Camp Letts, Rise for Autism, Maryland Therapeutic Riding, Friends of the Light House, and Brewer Hill Cemetery Association Inc.
- $700—Leadership Anne Arundel
