Anne Arundel Schools May Change Calendar: Survey Here

The school system is weighing changes to the calendar to extend it by a week and officials want your opinion. Find the survey here.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The Anne Arundel school system, considering potential changes to the 2019-2020 calendar, is releasing a survey to gain input from the public. Linked below, the survey's deadline is noon on Friday, April 5.

The school says the survey, among other topics, will gauge public preferences on moving the last day of class from Monday, June 15, 2020, to Friday, June 19, 2020.

Possible changes made, if the year were extended by that week, would be to add more inclement weather days, have a full week for spring break or closing for Rosh Hashanah, according to the school's website.
