April Nyman, Executive Director Arts Council of Anne Arundel County(ACAAC) was recently selected to serve as the President for the Community Arts Agencies of Maryland (CAAM) in addition to serving on the board of Maryland Citizen’s for the Arts (MCA). Her role is to foster a stronger connection between MCA’s work and the work of Maryland’s 24 local Arts Councils.
Ms. Nyman has been the Executive Director ACAAC since November 2007 and has served on CAAM since 2008.
“I hope as the representative for CAAM,” says Mrs. Nyman, “ I will effectively promote, develop skills, and articulate the needs of the arts communities in Maryland. I am honored to lead this talented group, that provides outstanding leadership to each County in Maryland, “she says.
