ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police said they recently tased a burglary suspect after he broke into an Annapolis apartment.

Officers said they were in the area for another call when they heard glass shatter and saw a man enter an apartment on Graff Court last Thursday.

Authorities said they entered the apartment and found the suspect inside.

Police said the suspect resisted arrest, so the officer tased him.

Authorities said the suspect was taken to an undisclosed hospital with minor injuries.

The Annapolis Police Department said it will charge the suspect, an unidentified 33-year-old Annapolis man, when he is released from the hospital.

Officers said the apartment residents were home during the burglary and they locked themselves in a bedroom.
