ANNAPOLIS, MD — Jessie and Ian Seamans were stranded at Annapolis City Dock on their wedding day. Chesapeake Bay Media reported that the Navy sailors were supposed to get married on a charter boat, but the vessel was a half-hour late because of mechanical issues.

Capt. Aaron Hull, the operations manager for Watermark Journey, noticed the crowd at the dock as he was finishing up work on March 17. Journalist Cheryl Costello said the group explained its situation to the Annapolis boat tour company, so Hull retrieved his captain's license and married the couple aboard Watermark's Miss Anne.

"I was the boat captain, the bartender, the minister, and I also was running their playlist," Hull told Chesapeake Bay Media. "We immediately went into action mode and started scrambling."
