When Lawary left the hospital setting and her job as a nurse in 2005, she knew she wanted to follow her business ownership dream while helping seniors in her community. Franchising appealed to Lawary because it would allow her to apply her health care background with the support of a well-known brand. Right at Home and the founder’s background in health care really stuck out to her. That same year, she opened her first Right at Home location in the D.C. area. She loved her experience with the brand so much that she bought her second location in 2014. She has since sold those two locations and is now heading up operations in Annapolis and the surrounding areas.

“My background as a registered nurse helps me connect with clients and caregivers, as well as our administrative staff,” said Lawary. “I’ve been with this brand for 17 years. I’m excited and blessed to continue my Right at Home journey in Annapolis and surrounding areas.”

Right at Home Annapolis offers a range of in-home care services from light housekeeping, medication reminders and transportation to personal hygiene assistance, hospice support and situational care for adults living with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetes, heart disease and other chronic health conditions and disabilities. In-home care services can be provided a few hours a week up to around-the-clock care. Free in-home care assessments allow the care team to get to know clients and their families, along with the clients’ health needs, daily routines, hobbies and personalities, in order to form personalized care plans.

Lawary is looking forward to hiring more caregivers and growing her business to provide in-home care to more seniors and adults with disabilities in the community, helping them live successfully wherever they call home.
