Free Mission BBQ For Vietnam Vets Friday In Annapolis

In honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, the chain is offering free sandwiches to Vietnam vets.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Mission BBQ is observing National Vietnam War Veterans Day, Friday, March 29, by offering free sandwiches to all Vietnam veterans. They'll also play the national anthem at noon at all of their locations around 16 states, one of which is in Annapolis.

"On this day, which marked the last combat troops to withdraw from Vietnam, we wish to honor the brave men and women in service from that era, remember their history and show our sincere appreciation," says a release from the chain.

The Annapolis location is at 142 Dock St. Their hours on Friday are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

"We believe there is nothing more American than BBQ. And nobody more American than the brave men and women who have sworn to protect and serve Our Communities and Our Country," Mission BBQ said in the release.
