Shooting Hospitalizes 18-Year-Old, Damages Car In Anne Arundel County: Reports

An 18-year-old man was shot in Glen Burnie, a report said. The gunfire in a residential neighborhood left a car with several bullet holes.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie shooting hospitalized a young man and damaged a vehicle Friday afternoon, reports said.

WBAL-TV reported that an 18-year-old man was injured. Medics took him to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, police said. He's expected to survive.

Officers said the shooting happened around 2:50 p.m. at Jefferson Place and Allen Road. That's located in a townhome community.

WBAL said shots were fired at a sedan, and multiple occupants bailed out. The TV station's footage showed at least eight holes in the car's windshield.
