Great Food Truck Race Headed to Annapolis

Team Tikka Tikka Taco will be headed to Annapolis in the finals for the Great Food Truck Race this weekend.

The Food Network's series The Great Food Truck Race will hold its final competition at a street corner in Annapolis.

Chef Tyler Florence hosts the national cooking competition featured on the TV network, which pits mobile food vendors against each other to see who can rack up the most sales in a set amount of time.

The show is in its fourth season, and the current race is down to three competitors, including Tikka Tikka Taco, a St. Louis, MO-based food truck specializing in modern Indian street food with a Mexican flair—think "Naan'chos."

The group's Facebook page says Annapolis has been selected as the final destination for the race, which started on the West Coast, and most recently was in Chicago.

Filming should begin by the end of this week. A final location within Annapolis has yet to be selected, but stay tuned throughout the week for more information.
