A wreck on US Interstate 97 Tuesday morning sent one man to the hospital after his Jeep Wrangler flipped between two and three times, a state police spokesman said.
An unidentified 29-year-old man was taken to Prince George's Shock Trauma Center after his vehicle flipped near the intersection of US Route 50 and Interstate 97 in Annapolis, Maryland State Police Spokesman Sgt. Michael Dornberger said. The incident occurred at about 8:15 a.m., he said.
The jeep flipped and ended up on the shoulder of the interstate, Dornberger said. No other vehicles were involved.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Keith Swindle said the man's injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
